The MelNak Baitmaker Egg Sac Tying Machine is the original patented heat sealer designed to assist in tying bait sacs.
This tying machine features a stainless steel plate.
The MelNak Baitmaker is great for soft baits such as salmon eggs, cheese bait, corn, chicken live, blood baits, live baits (maggots and grubs), and much more.
To seal a sac, heat is applied to the MelNak Baitmaker with a small soldering iron, match, or lighter (all sold separately). Alternatively, you can tie off the bait sacs using our Silkworm thread, available in a many colours to add variety and enticement to your spawn bag! It is just the right size to fit in your pocket or tackle box.

Melnak Floaters
These floaters are specially designed to keep your bait at the proper feeding level, rather than having them sink to the bottom. Usually one is all that is needed with salmon egg bait sacs.
When used in a stream or river with current flow, the floaters will help keep the sac from snagging the bottom and present a more natural drift.

It comes packed in 100 ft spools in a convenient plastic tube dispenser and includes tying instructions on the back for best results.
